Every year, Foothill organizes an event for clubs to raise money for their future endeavors; however, this year's Falcon Fest took on a spooky twist as Leadership decided to embrace the Halloween spirit. The event transformed into a festive celebration where clubs competed for the chance to win their very own pizza party. Students were eager to see how the Halloween theme would change the atmosphere of Falcon Fest, as well as how each club would creatively incorporate it into their booths, decorations, and products. Before the event, GSA president Lucas Baragona [11] remarked, "I'm excited to see how people transform the ideas of Halloween to fit their own club and how they play on that." Many clubs reflected the season through food and drinks, offering fall-inspired treats such as hot chocolate, spiced lattes, and pumpkin or cinnamon flavored snacks — perfect for the cool October weather. Students and families got to see all sorts of festive decorations throughout Falcon Fest, such as carved pumpkins, signs, and Halloween tape. Along with the new Halloween additions, several clubs also celebrated Falcon Fest's traditional side. Foothill Fizaa offered intricate henna designs and delicious cultural treats that drew a steady crowd. Anne George [11], Foothill Fizaa's treasurer, shared her excitement before the event, saying, "We are going to be selling hot and cold chai's as well as some classic Indian dishes to spread Indian culture. I can't wait to see all the booths and I love the Halloween aspect of Falcon Fest!" Many booths handed out candy to capture the fun of trick-or-treating, sparking nostalgic memories of childhood Halloween nights. This year's Falcon Fest stood out as students admired the creativity and effort each club poured into their displays, making it a lively and memorable event filled with laughter, music, and a hint of Halloween magic.
