Foothill Hosts Its 51st Band Review

Foothill's band program was proud to host its annual parade and marching band competition, bringing together skilled musicians from schools across Northern California. This year, the event was just as successful as the previous years, showcasing a diverse range of bands from different divisions, each with unique shows to display. As drum major of Foothill Band, Eli Chavez [11] mentions that the success at Band Review wasn't a lucky accident. "It's a lot of work. We needed everyone to do their part. We needed all hands on deck, so it required a lot of help from the band, especially our leadership team. I've definitely noticed some individuals who helped out a lot, and I really appreciate that." Eli's words reflect the unseen labor that went into the event's success, which involved weeks of preparation. He speaks for all the musicians in the marching band program, whose work was essential to the event. Foothill's 51st Band Review was not only an opportunity for other schools to showcase their talent, but also a display of Foothill Music's collective effort and commitment to the program.
