Class of 2029 Prepares to Make Their High School Debut
Incoming freshmen can feel a spectrum of emotions — excited, nervous, hopeful. Alivia Wang [9] details the parts of high school she is anticipating ahead of the new school year. "I'm feeling really excited going into high school, and things I'm looking forward to are the new people, sports, and functions! I am a little nervous about the pressure of high school and having new classes," Wang said. Similarly, Alexander Kimm [9] expresses the contrast between his enthusiasm and handling the inevitable uncertainties of high school. "As I transition towards high school, I feel a mix of nervousness and excitement for my freshman year. The coming years will be undoubtedly difficult, posing a much bigger challenge than before. However, I am eager to learn new things, create new friendships, and make lasting memories despite the obstacles and hardships in my way," Kimm said. It is common for freshmen to feel a blend of exhilaration and worry, as every student has felt the same way at the beginning of their high school career. But as the years progress, students begin to build relationships and bonds with one another, making their high school years a rewarding journey they will never forget.
