A Look Back on the BOY Rally From Freddy the Falcon
The 2025-2026 school year kicked off with the annual Beginning-of-the-Year rally, hosted by Foothill Leadership. With field day games like tug-of-war and a student scavenger hunt, this Survivor-themed rally brought both spirit and competition to the field. While students raced in obstacle courses and cheered for their friends, one member of the community clapped his wings and rooted for every competitor with unmatched Foothill spirit — Freddy the Falcon. In fact, he explains what makes this rally especially memorable for him. "Hi Falcons! The BOY rally is always one of my favorite events of the entire year because of our energy and school spirit. It's so special to me because it's the first time we get to welcome the new students and show our pride. I was super hyped to see everyone flocked out and excited for the school year. Let's make this one great falcons!" Freddy said. There is no doubt that the Falcon not only plays a crucial role in getting the students excited during the rallies, but will continue to encourage Foothill spirit throughout the year. While it was the first Beginning-of-the-Year rally for the freshmen, it was also a nostalgic last for the seniors. But regardless of whether the students were wearing yellow, red, green, or blue as their class color, all falcons cheered for other members of their Foothill community, where no one gets voted off in Tribal Council.
